Whitetail at 3-S Ranch
Big, heavy frames typically spanning 20 to 30+ inches — on a ranch managed by a master-level wildlife biologist.
Big, heavy frames — managed for trophy.
3-S Ranch focuses on producing big, heavy frames that typically span 20 to 30+ inches. The herd is managed from 140 to 400+ inches across the program, alongside 16+ types of exotics on the same ground.
3-S Ranch is enrolled in Texas Parks & Wildlife's Managed Lands Deer Program at Level 3 — the highest tier. That means extended seasons, harvest flexibility, and MLDP tags issued to the ranch, so guests hunt without needing personal deer tags. We handle the paperwork.
The program is overseen by ranch manager Chris Stewart — a master-level wildlife biologist, SHSU lecturer, and Region 4 Director of the Texas Deer Association. Few ranches in Texas can say their deer herd is managed by someone who teaches deer management at the university level.
