Hunt the rarest. Fund the recovery.
Conservation through sustainable use isn't a slogan here — it's a university partnership, federal permits where they apply, and herds that grow because people hunt them.
Four species. Real conservation impact.
3-S Texas Outdoors stewards four endangered or conservation-listed antelope species. Red lechwe and barasingha are hunted under USFWS permit; scimitar oryx and addax fall under the federal ‘Three Amigos’ exemption that recognizes Texas ranches as the reason these species still exist.
Every hunt feeds the next generation.
A portion of every conservation-species hunt — reflecting the federal 10% conservation contribution principle — is reinvested directly into the breeding herds, habitat, and management that perpetuate these animals. Species that are endangered or extinct in the wild are increasing on managed Texas ranches precisely because that model works. When you hunt a scimitar oryx at 3-S, you are funding the herd that ensures there will be more of them.
