Texas North American

American Bison

The icon of the American plains — hunted on 2,500+ high-fenced acres in Bedias.

About the American Bison

The American bison is the icon of the open plains — the largest land mammal in North America and a once-in-a-lifetime trophy for most hunters.

A mature bull will tip the scale at well over a ton, with a black mane, curved horns, and the unmistakable hump of the Plains tribes' totem animal. Bison at 3-S Ranch are hunted with rifle or traditional bow, and we welcome hunters bringing primitive weapons.

The meat from a single bull will fill a family's freezer for the year — leaner than beef, richer in flavor, and prized by chefs.
